String Sextet in D minor "Souvenir de Florence", Op. 70, composed in 1890 by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893). The work was titled "Souvenir de Florence" because the composer sketched one of the work's principal themes while visiting Florence, Italy.

We will dazzle the audience with Brahms Piano Quartet in C minor, Op. 60 (1875) and Fauré Piano Quartet #2 in G minor, Op.45 (1886). Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) was a German composer, but spent most of his professional life in Vienna. Brahms is often considered both a traditionalist and an innovator. His music is firmly rooted in the structures and compositional techniques of the Baroque and Classical masters. Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924) was one of the foremost French composers of his generation, and his musical style influenced many 20th-century composers.
